Roberto Giobbi (b.1959) has a mathematical and scientific background, studied literature and linguistics and eventually majored as a translator and interpreter in German, English, Italian and French. Since 1988 he has been working as a free-lance magician, author and lecturer. His 5 bestselling Card College volumes are among the most widely translated magic books in history and are considered worldwide as the ultimate reference work for card magic. He is member of the Escuela Magica de Madrid, magic’s only Think Tank with 40 members worldwide. Several international awards in magic round off his profile. Giobbi is married and has 2 children. He lives and works in Muttenz near Basel.[1]


Biography

After studying literature and linguistics Roberto Giobbi worked as an interpreter and translator. In 1988 he made ​​his hobby magic profession. Giobbi published articles and essays on the art of magic in journals in Europe and overseas. Overall, more than 50 of his books have been published in 6 languages.

Giobbi has been a guest on many TV and radio appearances in Switzerland, Italy, Spain, USA, Japan and South America.
