Professor Otto Struck (fl. early 1900s) was a Martinka customer who performed with T. Nelson Downs and was a friend and assistant to The Great Herrmann.[1]

Biography

Sometimes referred to as a "German magician", he was most likely from Newark. New Jersey. He appears in magic publications in or around 1895, which document a number of performances in the United States and Canada.[2]

He performed a command performance he gave for President Theodore Roosevelt.

Struck retired from magic due to health reasons and became a farmer. His magic resided in a barn for nearly 100 years before being removed, cataloged and sold by Martinka.
