Split Deck is a pack of playing cards cut diagonally into halves making 2 decks. Two volunteers each select any half-card from each deck and they prove to be the two halves from the same card.

The deck was created by Bob Haskell and manufactured by Merv Taylor by July 1950, initially under the name "2 to 1" [1] and later that year under the name "Split Deck" [2]. [3]
