A. Berkeley Davis (b. 1930), born in New Orleans, Louisiana and later moved to Mississippi, was known as "Berk" to his friends. Many of his close-up creations were published by Harry Lorayne in Apocalypse and Jerry Mentzer in the Card Cavalcade series.

He once ran a Gift and Fun Store in Mississippi.
