Ace Gorham served as President of the National SAM (1951) and IBM after serving as President of the Boston Assembly No. 9 for several terms, as SAM Regional Vice President, and SAM National Vice President.[1][2][3]

As a business man, he was in charge of product sales for Standard Oil Co. of New York. Later he was a District Manager for Mobil Oil for 37 years, responsible for New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts until he retired in February of 1963. He was also a legislator for the State of New Hampshire.[4]

Ace trouped all over Cape Cod with a magic show at the age of 15. Then worked as an actor in silent movies.

Gorham played hotels from coast to coast, worked at the Magic Castle and the Magic Circle in London, England. He was frequently a performer on both the S.A.M. and I.B.M. National Conventions.[5]
