Alfred James Giddings (November 28, 1879 - February 19, 1948), also known as "Arthur Marriott" when performing a Second Sight act with his wife, Adelaide Ellen Giddings, as "The Marriott". Later they became known as The Zomahs.
Giddings, a friend of Stanley Collins, founded the Institute of Magicians in 1934. Giddings had resigned as a member of The Magicians' Club in protest to start this new organization, which embarked upon an anti-exposure crusade.
