Allan Carmichael (1936-2003) was a semi-professional close-up magician who pioneered performing magic at restaurants in Australia.
Biography
Inspired in 1949 by seeing a demonstration in a department store, he worked as a sales trainer and motivator.
He began doing magic at Barnaby's Restaurant starting in 1985 and had numerous articles published in Blueprint.
He was a member of the I.B.M., the Order of Merlin and of Ring 102, the Maurice Rooklyn Ring in Sydney.[1]
