Arnold De Biere (March 14, 1876 - August 6, 1934), possibly born Bierstein or Bere was a professional performer in England, where he moved by 1904.

Biography

Mahatma June 1902 issue shows him at the Gaiety Theatre in Brooklyn appearing as "De Biere, the Mysterious".

De Biere has been called the mystery man among magicians, believed to be born in Poland and brought to the United States as a child. He was known for his performances of the egg bag, vanishing bird cage and thumb tie.

He made a fortune from magic, but lost quite a bit investing in Houdini's Film Development Corporation and Wall Street crash.

His act was listed in Holden's Programmes of Famous Magicians.
