Billy Ewing (fl. 1920s), "The King of Cards", was an African American sleight-of-hand artist that specialized in cards but was also noted for his work with coins.

After being seen doing tricks by Howard Thurston, Thurston hired Ewing as an assistant. Ewing left Thurston and joined up with a comedian, eventually dropping magic from his act completely.[1]
