Robert Stenner
was a pro magician, puppeteer, vent and mentalist since age 15, working first as “Larry Hartz”. In 1945 he took the name to “Bob Mason”. He worked as an actor in Hollywood movies and TV, mainly westerns, he was an assistant and understudy to John Calvert, was a partner with Leon & Velvet Mandrake, and assisted Kirk Kirkham. Played schools with puppet and vent act for elementaries and mindreading for higher grades. Bob marketed several tricks and had articles in Tops, Abbott's house publication and did lots of club dates in the Detroit area.
