Brian Gillis (b.1946-d.2018) was a professional magician specializing in private events for a wealthy and celebrity clientele in the Los Angeles area.[1]
Biography
Gillis came up in his teens studying with the Buffalo Magic Bar legend, Eddie Fechter. For a few years, he performed at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri before eventually ended up in Hollywood near the Magic Castle. He started appearing in television commercials. Gillis had three appearances on The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson.[2]
