Cardician's Blendo is a card effect by Paul Harris originally published in Las Vegas Close-Up (1978), then later reprinted in Art of Astonishment Volume 1 (1996).
Effect
After failing to find the selected card twice (4 of diamonds, 6 of diamonds) the magician takes the two incorrect cards and magically blends them into the selection (10 of diamonds).
Variations
- 10 (Paul Harris & Jay Sankey) in Close-Up Seductions, by Paul Harris (1984). A variation not just of the handling but of the plot, wherein an Ace, Two, Three and Four of the same suit (e.g., Hearts) magically fuse together into a jumbo Ten.
