Cedric was a professional British magician who enjoyed success in America. He also performed under the name "Ray Bentley". [1]

He capitalized on his very English accent in the United States with his popular "Have A Cup Of Tea" magic presentations.

At one time he managed the Detroit branch of Abbott's magic stores.

He later returned to England where he spent the last years of his life as a popular children's entertainer.[2]

A member of the IBM and The Magic Circle, Cedric left all his effects to Ian Adair, Henry Smith, and Maurice Day.[3][4][5]
