A Chair Test is a Mentalism routine in which the seating arrangement of one or several people are predicted.

The original plot was based on the game "Musical chairs", and was published in Mentale Mysterier by the Danish magician Aage Darling in 1948, and republished in English in I'll Read Your Mind in 1953.
