Charles H. Hopkins (1899-1948) was a printer, philanthropist and amateur performer from Philadelphia.[1]

A member of The Mystic Circle, The Yogi Club, and I.B.M. Ring 6, he served as the president of S.A.M. Assembly 4 for two terms from 1935 to 1936.[2]

Hopkins died suddenly of a heart attack just a few days after trying to help George Wagner who also died of a heart attack at a S.A.M. convention.

  • The S.A.M. Assembly 4 established the "Charles H. Hopkins Award", which was the highest honor that can be bestowed on one of its members. (It is now the "Dick & Joan Gustafson" award.)
