Nagle specialized in Club Work, booking strictly around the New York area and always insisted on having the audience greet him with "Hello, Charlie!"
He was a member of the S. A. M. and Professional Entertainers of New York. Nagle performed just before his death at the SAM Parent Assembly's 500th Celebration Meeting in December of 1950 at the age of 77.
Effects from Nagle can be found in Jinx and his act was described by Holden in Programmes of Famous Magicians.
