Charley died at the age of 70  while performing a magic trick for a customer on February 11,1967.

Sylber marketed the routine Out of My Hat beginning around 1942.[1]

During his performing career, Charley appeared in more than 70 movies. In addition he served as technical advisor for a number of producers, who from time to time, had magic scenes.[2][3]
