Coin In Bottle is an effect in which a coin appears inside a bottle in which the neck is too small for the coin to pass through normally.
It was being marketed Joseph Michael Hartz in his catalog by 1873.[1]
Notable magicians who performed this effect have been Johnny Thompson (Coin in the Bottle-Plus) and Billy McComb.
