Color Change

The Color Change is card sleight that mysteriously changes one card into another. The usual procedure is done by passing a hand over a deck which is being held face-up by the other. Most methods requiring Palming a card. Move advanced methods appear as if the magician is only holding a single card.
One of the first description is in Sleight of Hand by Edwin Sachs (1877) (page 114 in Dover Publications, Inc. 1980)
