Daisy White (fl. 1920s-1930s) was a magician's assistant, a magic demonstrator at the Martinka-Hornmann Magic Co., and a friend of Houdini's.

Biography

White started in musical theater, and later worked as assistant to Servais LeRoy. She learned magic as an demonstrator working for Frank Ducrot at Martinka's. She was an accomplished pianist, and often played piano for shows put on by the SAM Parent Assembly in New York City. She was quite active in the Parent Assembly, helping put together ladies' nights, and decorating for the banquets.[1]

The role of Daisy White was played by Adrienne Barbeau in the 1976 film, The Great Houdinis.

The date of Daisy's death is elusive, but it was prior to 1959.[1]
