Davenports & Co. was established in 1898 by Lewis Davenport. Based in central London, it is now one of the oldest family run magic business in the world.
Betty Davenport demonstrated magic in the business, having worked since her teen years in 1948 in Davenports' London shop. When her father died in 1962 she became the proprietor.
