Davenports & Co. was established in 1898 by Lewis Davenport. Based in central London, it is now one of the oldest family run magic business in the world.
Betty Davenport began working in her teen years, starting in 1948, demonstrated magic in the London shop. When her father died in 1962 she became the proprietor. Betty changed the name to Lewis Davenport Limited around 1981.[1] It is now known as Davenports Magic.[2]
