Don Rataj is a magician and collector.
Don is a close up card magician that started at age 10 when he got into the dealer room at the 1964 St. Louis magic convention at the Chase Park Plaza.
He performed close up bar magic while behind the bar during college years in Kansas and later on with his clients of his St. Louis Architectural firm.
Collector of vintage magic photographs, Magic Tokens, and the current historian of the St. Louis IBM Ring One. Don is researching the Ring One past presidents of which he is one (Past Ring One President in 1995) and preparing historical data for the magic club archives as well as updating MagicPedia. He is also researching the history of the Midwest Magic Jubilee convnetion.
