Edward "Ed" M. Vernelo (1869-1907) was a professional magician, Chicago magic dealer and publisher of The Sphinx magazine. [1]
Biography
In October 1901, he had become manager of Vernelo & Co. and opened a store at 282 Michigan Avenue in Chicago.[2]
He was touring magician with the Ringling Brothers Circus.
His wife, Madame Inez, edited The Sphinx from 1902 to 1904 and kept his business going after his death from tuberculosis in 1907.[3][4]
