Eduard began to perform at age ten under the tutelage of "Papa" Bamberg. He was little more than a boy when he performed at the Alhambra Theatre in London billed as "the smallest and greatest conjurer in the world" with the title "Little Nelusco," sometimes "Le Petite Nelusco."
Afterwards, he toured England and then Europe. He appeared with brother Emile Bamberg as "The Nelusco Brothers." Emile and Eduard joined Theo in 1904 and 1905, touring as "The Okito Family."
