Sachs was a sports writer and amateur magician who learned from William Cremer's The Secret Out.
Mr. Sachs became an Honorary Vice-President of the Magic Circle in 1906 and on April, 1907 became a Member of the Inner Magic Circle. He was a frequent contributor to the pages of the Magic Circular.
Publications
Sachs' articles on sleights were serialized in the Exchange & Mart magazine and reprint as Sleight of Hand, A Practical Manual of Legerdemain for Amateurs and Others in 1877.
