Elmer Johnson (1890-1984) as a semi-professional magician and cartoonist.
Biography
Johnson began performing around 1920 and specialized in psychic phenomena.[1]
He as a contributor to the Sphinx, a member of the Wisconsin Houdini Club and the IBM (a charter member of the Order of Merlin and Ring 41 in Milwaukee.)
Johnson a friend of Harry and Bess Houdini, he appeared on a number of shows with them in 1924.[2]
