Frank Caesar (1872-1948) was a professional magician that toured the United States starting the early 1900s.
Biography
Growing up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of a book binder, became interested in magic after seeing Alexander Herrmann in 1889.
A year later he was touring America as a magician. In 1896 he married Helen Babe Lewis and the began performing a "Trunk Substitution" which Caesar built himself. They performed in vaudeville for many years with great success.[1]
In 1922, he went into the manufacturing magic out of Chicago.[2]
A photograph of him can be viewed at the Conjuring Arts' exhibit "The Many Faces of Magic."[3]
