Frank Simon, a friend of Earl Nelson, wrote only one book which became a cult classic.
Biography
He was also a friend of Richard Kaufman, who related in Genii about Simon having a debilitating stoke in 1985. He was paralyzed on his right side, unable to speak clearly or read. At the time of his stroke, Frank had been living in New York City for a couple of years and was planning a second book. Unfortunately he was hospitalized before he could write it.
In the Publisher's Note by Mike Caveney in Versatile Card Magic, "By the year 2002, Frank Simon was quite simply an enigma."[1]
