Manwaring, best known for his book illustrations, began illustrating magic books and tricks in 1983 for the likes of Michael Ammar, Michael Weber and David Williamson while attending the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, California, where he studied the Art of Character Animation under the tutelage of old Disney greats. During his 3 years at College he was thrilled to sell an illusion idea to Doug Henning. Manwaring was honored to cap off his magic illustration career by illustrating Dai Vernon's Revelations. Greg is also chuffed that Mike Caveney has asked to include a routine, which he devised, in a new book about the magic that Mike has performed during his professional career.
