Greg Manwaring (born July 2, 1962, in Gary, Indiana) began learning magic from the books found in the library located on the Army base in Wuerzburg, Germany, where he grew up (between 1972 and 1983).

Greg, best known in the Magic world for his book illustrations, began illustrating magic books and tricks in 1983 for the likes of Michael Ammar, Michael Weber and David Williamson while attending the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, California, where he studied the Art of Character Animation under the tutelage of old Disney greats. During his 3 years at College he was thrilled to sell an illusion idea to Doug Henning. Greg was honored to cap off his magic illustration career by illustrating Dai Vernon's Revelations. Greg is also chuffed that Mike Caveney has asked to include a routine, which Greg devised, in a new book about the magic that Mike has performed during his professional career.

Greg has spent the last 25 years as an Animator for most of the major Hollywood studios, including Walt Disney, Warner Bros. and for Steven Spielberg's Amblimation, and on such films as "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?", "The Lion King" and "The Iron Giant". He also lent his talent on t.v. shows such as "The Ren and Stimpy Show" and "Family Guy". Today Greg lives in Munich, Germany and is preparing a slate of animation films and television series that he will Produce from there. The first of these projects will most likely be his Christmas film "Kris Kringle" which will be Exec. Produced by fellow Magi and famed Producer/Director Frank Marshall!
