Hank Lee is the founder of Hank Lee's Magic Factory in 1975, a magic store in Medford, Mass., just outside of Boston.

He invented commercially available tricks like Sharpshooter (a version of Alan Alan's routine wherein a realistic-looking toy gun is fired at a deck of cards, whereupon a previously chosen card in the middle of the deck is now seen to have a bullet hole in its center), and Cereal Killer, a trick with cereal-box covers based on Billy McComb's McCombical Prediction and Don Wayne's Top Ten.

In 2012 Levy was sentenced to two years in prison for a nearly two-year fraud where he charged $560,000 on a regular customers credit card and then mislead investigators when confronted about it. Levy was also be required to pay restitution to the victim.[1]
