Hans Trunk (1887-1966) was the director of a large business firm and an amateur sleight-of-hand magician.

He was a student of Ottokar Fischer and invented the Blue Phantom in 1924, which was marketed by Fischer.

He wrote articles for both German and English magazines.

Trunk was the founding President of Magische Runde (in Vienna) from 1931 until 1938.[1] He was also elected elected president of FISM in 1957.
