Herbert B. Davis, entertained audiences for 70 years.

A resident of Boston, Baltimore, Florida and the last 12 years of his life in Dallas, Davis was the son of magician Herbert A. Davis. He was born the night that his father was sharing a bill with Harry Houdini. Returning to the hotel after the performance and learning of the birth, Houdini threw a gold coin on the bed, saying, "Let this boy be a famous magician."

Along with his wife and their daughter, they entertained at military bases and hospitals during War World II.

Later in life Davis worked as a purchasing agent when he wasn't performing magic.

He was a member of the Magician Alliance of Eastern States and the Society of Osiris.[1]
