Hollywood Mystic 27 was a magic organization in Hollywood California that was established in 1927 with membership limited to 27 members, by invitation only.

Each member also freely selected a card from a deck and from thenceforth he was to be known by the name of the card. Adam Hull Shirk was elected the first president.

It was still in existence in 1937 as can bee seen in a congratulation ad in Genii 1937 September (Vol. 2, No. 1).

They eventually dropped "Hollywood" from their name and became known as just "Mystic 27".

Members included Neil Hamilton, Lenn O. Gunn, Walter Westcott and Caryl S. Fleming

Notes

There are also a club called the Mystic 13 from San Jose.
