Houdini The Untold Story by Milbourne Christopher stood for 28 years as the definitive Houdini biography until Houdini!!! The Career of Ehrich Weiss was published in 1996.

It was reviewed in Genii 1969 April and called "called it "undoubtedly one of the best books of the year."
