Howard Bamman was a semi-professional stand-up comedy magician and IBM National President (1966).[1]

Inspired at age 12 after seeing Dante and Blackstone. Following World War II, he was employed as a public relations specialist for Illinois Bell Telephone, which he worked for 37 years before retiring.[2]

He began working as a magician an MC by 1938 under the names "Howard Edward Paul", "Howard Paul", and "Paul Howard".

He wrote a column in New Tops in the 1960s and was Executive Editor of the The Linking Ring or many years. He worked with his friend Don Alan on the Magic Ranch television program.

Bamman became an Honorary Life Member of the IBM in 1986 and in 1990, he was given the the rarely awarded IBM Medallion of Honor. [3]
