Howard Olson

Howard "Howie" Olson was a professional ventriloquist and magician for over 60 years.[1]

He began performing with his father, "The Great Chesterfield", in 1917 at the age of seven as "Little LeRoy-The Boy Wonder."

By 1929 was was using the stage name "Chester LeRoy." He would teach Tommy Windsor ventriloquism in exchange for magic lesson. Bill Baird join his show called "Sirens in Satin" in 1935 and they became friends.

During World War II, he was drafted into the Army Air Corps where he entertained G.I.'s for three years.

Olson moved to Orlando, Florida in 1990 and built vent figures for Show-Biz Services.
