Howard de Courcy (1914-1990) was a professional magician that performed in England.
Biography
He came to England with his family to work in the hotel business but took up magic instead.[1]
Will Goldston was his mentor, giving him tips on publicity and advice on how to present his tricks.
With his canary, Garbo, he starting performing at private parties, then cabarets and eventually theaters. He gave over 3,000 performances at the Whitehall Theatre.[2]
He was a member of the Magicians' Club.[3]
