Ib Jørgen Melchior (September 17, 1917 - March 13, 2015) was a novelist, short-story writer, film producer, film director, and screenwriter of low-budget American science fiction movies, most of them released by American International Pictures. He had a longstanding interest in magic.

His 1964 science fiction epic, The Time Travelers, accomplished special effects using conjuring methods.

He did a Magic Castle Perk interview with Max Maven in February 2014. They discussed the relationship between his work and his longstanding interest in magic.[1]
