Fluent in both French and English, he has translated many books into French and also frequently served to provide simultaneous translation into French during lectures from visiting American and British magicians. (This amazing feat can be witnessed on the videos made by Mayette Magie Moderne of Derek Dingle and Larry Jennings in 1995.)

Sanvert has won first place in the FISM competition for Card Magic in 1979 (Belgium) and was also featured on the cover of Genii in 2006, an issue in which many of his favorite routines were explained.

He was the subject of a four DVD set produced by L&L Publishing in 2005 and has contributed to many other magazines and books in various countries.
