Jimmy Rogers, grandson of actor Jimmy Rogers, was a semi-professional magician starting in 1930.

He became first interested in magic from watching Chung Ling Soo perform. [1]

He worked for a number of years for the Moss and Stoll Circuits, before branching out with his solo Dove act, specializing in private dinner parties.

Rogers was a Life Member of the Magicians' Club (1930) and a founding member of the Southend Sorcerers' Society.[2]
