John Lippy (1897-1967) was a chemist, magician, author, collector, and Lincoln historian.

Between 1920 and 1930 he was billed as "Lippy the Magician" and in 1933, he and his wife played under the billing of "The Lippys."

A member of the I.B.M. (No.2852) he lived many years in Pennsylvania, where he served as president of M.A.E.S., before moving to Florida.

He became ill and later died while preparing to present a magic show for a children's Halloween party at his Community Center.[1]
