Jose "Pepe" Carroll is the stage name of the close-up magician José Franco Arsenio Larraz from Spain.

Carroll studied Industrial Engineering, although he never worked in that profession. He began his apprenticeship at the magic school of Zaragoza, and won several national and international awards of magic. He chose his stage name from the author of Alice in Wonderland, Lewis Carroll. He started as a manipulator and later focused on close-up magic and parlor magic. Carroll became a popular television figure in Spain on Juan Tamariz's Magia Potagia show.

He contributed regularly to several magic magazines and a member of the Escuela Magica de Madrid (the Madrid Magic Academy.)

Carroll died of a heart attack in Zaragoza at the age of 46.[1]
