Juliana Chen is a FISM-winning female Chinese magician.[1]

Biography

Chen attended the Hunan School of Ballet and Acrobatics at 12 and after graduating she worked as a ballerina. She then transferred to the China Acrobatic Troupe as a foot juggler.

She started performing magic in 1982. and won first prize at the all China Best Magician Competition in 1986.

In 1988 she immigrated to Canada and would be awarded first place as best Magician in British Columbia by 1991.[2]

Awards

In 1992, she entered and won

  • First place at the I.B.M. convention in Salt Lake City (1992)
  • Grand Prix and 1st place at Spanish XXI Congreso Nacional De Magia Competition in Spain (1996)
  • Top prize at F.I.S.M. in Germany for Manipulation 1997
