Kar-Mi (aka Joe Van Victorina, Joe Karmi) toured the United Sates with a fifteen minute vaudeville act and best remembered for his elaborate poster.

Among his acts was "Swallows a Loaded Gun Barrel", "Shoots a Cracker from a Man's Head" and the illusion called "Selma" (the name of his wife).

Legend has it that he died of stomach cancer as a results of performing his gun act.[1]
