Levent, The Magician (b. 1964) is a comedy magician and sleight of hand artist with over 30 years of experience.[1]

Biography

Levent started out at a young age performing throughout his native New York City. By the age 17 he was a regular at the Magic Town House in Manhattan and was awarded first prize for Stage Magic at the International Brotherhood of Magicians’ National Convention.

He then worked for two years at Resorts International Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, where he was twice nominated "Best Act in a Production Show".

In 2005, he performed at the Magic Circle Centenary Celebrations in London.

In 2006 Levent performed at the Society of American Magicians 97th Annual "Salute to Magic" at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center in New York.

In 2007 he performed at the World Magic Seminar in Nagoya, Japan and in 2008 he traveled twice to South Korea to perform at Busan International Magic Festival and at the FISM ASIA magic convention and television series.

In 2009 he was a regular performer on the American television series Masters of Illusion.

He is a noted creator of magic tricks and a magic lecturer as well as a vaudeville historian. He was a regular contributor to the "Vaudeville Times" Magazine, and has authored articles for "MAGIC" magazine.[2]
