Matt Corin (?-1998) was a close-up magician, specializing in cards, who once worked at the Magic Cellar night club in San Francisco, California.

Biography

He teamed up with Jeff Busby (a life long friend) and started a magic business, which ended around 1982 when Corin disappeared from the magic scene.

Rumors were that he changed his name to Adam Phillips and later died in an auto accident in Colorado.[1]

Corin however did not change his name and chose to lead a solitary life with his girlfriend in Idaho. He passed away from complications of pneumonia in 1998.[2]
