Mental-Wise was the house organ for Ed Mellon's mentalism business out of Uniontown, Pennsylvania that ran from 1953 until November, 1961 (Vol 5, No. 5).

It began as a free circulation, but changed to paid with the beginning of volume five in 1960.

He widow, Jean, continued publishing the magazine as "The New Ed Mellon Mental-Wise" after his death, edited by Felix Greenfield and Kenny Woodward, Jr.[1]

Best of Mental-Wise by Bill Miesel was serialized in MUM starting in October, 1973 and later published as a book in 1978.
