New Magic of Japan is the English-language version the original Japanese book New Generation Plus Alpha. It contains many card tricks, and some magic of other kinds as well. It was not translated, but rewritten from the Japanese original by Phil Goldstein and Richard Kaufman. The trick by Dr. Sawa was added for the English language version and did not appear in the original.
